Functieomschrijving
The objective is to provide a healthy work environment, to promote sound work practices and a healthy lifestyle for everyone involved in our business. QHSE is therefore one of the supportive departments that is involved in all Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental matters on our projects, vessels, and in HQ. As a project QHSE Advisor you will be part of the team that is on site on one of our offshore projects worldwide, responsible for the maintenance and control of QHSE-S practices on site, as well as inspecting all activities and equipment to reassure proper operation and implementation of procedures.
Offshore:
- Duration: Offshore until end of October, followed by an onshore assignment
- Working Hours: 12 hours/day
Onshore:
- Rotation: 4 days day shift, 4 days off, 4 days night shift, ....
Primary Tasks and responsibilities
- Participating in meetings and toolboxes on site
- Investigation incidents & non-conformities
- Engage the supervisors and workforce to actively participate in HSE matters and campaigns
- Carry out HSE inspections on the workfloor and ensure proper reporting, communication and follow-up of the findings
- 80% of time outside on project
Vaardigheden
Technical profile requirements:
- Provide support to the project team for all QHSE related matters
- Experience with earth and rock work at sea
- Vessel experience is key
Non-Technical profile requirements:
- Strong communication skills
- Good knowledge & experience with MS Office
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
Methodology/Certification requirements:
VCA VOL or Equal
HVK or MVK or Prevention Advisor or Equal
Language proficiencies:
- English is must
- Portuguese or Dutch would be a plus
