Role Summary:
The QA/QC and Documentation Manager is responsible for ensuring that all procedures, quality plans, documentation, and necessary processes are well-defined, validated, and followed throughout the project. This role involves managing quality and documentation, coordinating technical communications, and overseeing the transfer processes to the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team.
Main Responsibilities:
Initial Phase
- Ensure that all procedures and templates necessary for quality assurance (QA), quality control (QC), documentation, and handover management are well drafted and validated.
- Ensure that quality, documentation, and communication are managed according to the project rules throughout the project lifecycle.
General Activities:
- Ensure quality management complies with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements (EPC contract, tolling agreement, etc.).
- Ensure that quality management meets industry best practices.
- Ensure that the quality management system implemented by the EPC facilitates a smooth and reliable transfer to the O&M team.
- Oversee the certification process of the new power plant.
Definition of the Project QA&QC:
- Define the rules, procedures, and templates for each project phase (engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning).
- Coordinate with the EPC’s quality manager for quality control plans, inspection and test plans, audit programs, and test record sheets.
- Manage non-conformance reports (NCR) and address any deviations detected during inspections.
- Ensure that design changes or change requests are consistent with contractual requirements and properly approved.
Documentation Management:
- Supervise the documentation controller to track technical communications and store project documentation with particular attention to codification.
- Ensure that throughout the project, standardized templates, dedicated codification, and auditable documentation are issued.
- Manage the documentation controller to prepare the transfer to the O&M team, ensuring that future systems like SAP PM/MM databases are considered.
- Conduct audits to ensure that all activities are carried out with the correct, approved documentation.

- French: Professional working proficiency required.
- English: Fluent.

Expériences
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years, preferably 10 years of similar experience, especially in project administrative support related to site activities.
