Descriptif de fonction
Our client is looking for a site supervisor in order to reinforce its site construction team.
During site preparation works, the site Supervisor is the Delegated Developer full time representative
on site, and coordinates all contractors activities. He reports to the Construction Project Manager and
his appointed Deputy during site preparation works.
The Site Supervisor coordinates all phases of the project, including civil works, electrical installations,
electro-mechanical construction, commissioning, and final handover. Primarily working on-site, he
ensures that the quality of work meets contract requirements, monitors progress to ensure alignment
with the project planning, and prioritizes the safety of personnel and equipment at all times.
Tasks:
- Coordinates all site activities with execution contractors, consultants, and the employer to
ensure the project runs smoothly.
• Manages construction-related issues on-site with the employer, engineers, and contractors.
• Ensures all necessary permits are obtained before work begins, including verifying that work,
safety, and environmental permits are valid and up to date.
• Provides daily progress reports to the Site Manager or Construction Project Manager.
• Offers practical guidance and directions for on-site activities related to the project.
• Oversees the day-to-day civil, electrical, mechanical, and I&C works on-site.
• Leads daily progress meetings with contractors, consultants, the employer, and lead site
engineers.
• Ensures that work is performed according to approved drawings, specifications, and
procedures.
• Reviews work to ensure it aligns with the project schedule and that daily, weekly, and monthly
targets are met.
• Coordinates third-party activities related to quality (SECO) or regulatory inspections within
the employer’s scope.
• Ensures that quality standards are met and that inspections are conducted as per the
approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
• Stops unsafe work on-site immediately.
• Discusses any safety violations with the Site HSE Manager and site managers from contractors.
• Approves daily and weekly progress reports for construction activities.
• Manages the interface for SPW permits, authorities, and related matters.
• Ensures that all necessary documentation, including work permits, inspection reports, and
progress reports, is completed and shared with the site manager or other relevant parties
Compétences
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Proficiency in both French and English.
• Strong autonomy, initiative, proactivity, and ability to work as part of a team.
Expériences
- Technical experience in large industrial infrastructure projects.
- A minimum of 5 years, preferably 10 years, of similar experience.
- Experience in Wind or BESS construction projects is an advantage
- A relevant Bachelor's degree is preferred.
