Service Description:
As a Material Expert, you will build expertise in new high-voltage assets within the scope of projects executed by Engineering on behalf of our client.
Your tasks will mainly include:
- Knowledge Acquisition: Gathering the necessary knowledge regarding the equipment and systems under your responsibility. Staying informed about the latest market trends and exchanging experiences with both internal and external contacts to acquire and maintain essential strategic know-how.
- Technical Leadership: Leading the technical aspects of establishing framework agreements for equipment and drafting the necessary specifications. Together with your colleagues, you will handle the technical evaluation of the equipment and the procedures for its commissioning.
- Optimization: Optimizing the integration of line components and drafting the necessary guidelines and baseline documents for their application in Elia's investment projects.
- Advisory Role: Advising project engineers and supporting them in the realization of innovative projects.
- Training: Writing and delivering training sessions.
- Participation: Taking part in internal, national, and international working groups.
Compétences
- Excellent knowledge of English and a good understanding of French and Dutch.
- Willingness to undertake short assignments abroad.
- Strong affinity for electrical engineering and a willingness to further develop and share technical expertise.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, strong communication skills, and good persuasiveness.
- Strong analytical and synthesizing skills, enabling you to convey complex topics clearly (both orally and in writing).
- Ability to work independently, a strong sense of responsibility, excellent prioritization skills, and effective communication abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office is a plus.
Expériences
Civil or industrial engineer in electricity, mechanics, or electromechanics.
